Danny Yamashiro is a faculty chaplain at MIT and co-chairperson of the Cambridge Roundtable on Science and Religion. He is a guest lecturer at Harvard University. His PhD explored the formation of American presidents through childhood trauma. He hosts a daily radio/podcast, is an award winning novelist of young adult fiction, and has ministered in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, and the Pacific and Atlantic islands. At 18, he miraculously survived falling 400 feet from a cliff in Hawaii. Ordained by the EV Free Church of America, he is the founder and president of JCCY, Inc, a faith-based non-profit organization that he has led for over 30 years. He is married to Jamie and they have three adult children.
