A Conversation with Glen Comiso

Glen Comiso is Senior Director of Institute Affairs in the Office of the Vice President at MIT, and an Octet Collaborative Faculty Advisor. Glen facilitates various strategic initiatives, for example: his management of The Engine Working Groups regarding MIT’s launch of The Engine, the working groups who developed a framework for the new College of Computing, and the Task Force 2021 effort to create the blueprint for MIT post-pandemic. In this conversation, Glen discusses the fundamental importance of hope at a place like MIT, and how he is able both to find and share hope with his colleagues.
