Jessica Herndon, Advancement Lead, joined the Octet team in May 2026 and brings a diverse range of experiences in event planning, nonprofit development, education and program planning and execution. Previously she worked at Boston Trinity Academy planning development and community events. She also worked at Park Street Church planning Vacation Bible School and partnering with her husband in his ministry to youth and families. In addition to this work, she runs a portrait photography business photographing families and weddings. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts, having studied theater and French.
